Supervision

As a Washington State Approved Supervisor, I offer individual supervision and consultation to folks seeking full licensure who currently practice with an LMHCA.

I am experienced in the administrative tasks of building a private practice, as well as the more amorphous and ongoing process of building an identity as a therapist. In my own practice I have been (and continue to be) deeply impacted by the supervision, consultation, and personal therapy that I receive. I am passionate about supporting others to seek out and co-create safe, kind, human-centered relationships to assist in learning and developing as a clinician. As a supervisor my hope is always to show up as a soft and steady place to land.

Some specific lenses that I practice with and bring to supervision:

-Attachment, Trauma, and Systems informed therapies

-Building and starting a private practice

-Experience transitioning from community mental health to private practice (and working in both simultaneously)

-Relational Psychodynamic Therapy

-The presence of transference and countertransference

-Working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma

-Working eclectically and drawing from a number of different theories/modalities
